Professor Littman is a professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University. His popular Freshman Seminar on Motorcycle design has captivated students outside of engineering. The class restores a vintage motorcycle and learns a lot about engineering and hands-on learning along the way.

Michael Littman, Professor/Department Representative, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. His lecture topics include “Art and Science of Motorcycle Design: A Freshman Seminar", "Teaching Engineering with Antiques", "Engineering in the Modern World" (This would be the introductory lecture or perhaps the final lecture in his course CEE 102), "Smithsonian Invention Kits: Re-creation of historical engineering objects using 3D printers and laser cutters" (This is a current project that he collaborates on concerning STEM education in K-12), A condensed version of his CEE 102 lecture on Railroads - that lecture includes discussion of the Transcontinental Railroad (completed May 1869 at Promontary Point Utah).
